Mr Peet Cronje
Head of Academics: Sandton School Group
‘You were born to be a teacher’, was what my mother used to proclaim when I was a child. After completing matric at Potchefstroom Gimnasium, I went on to study English and Natural Science teaching for Intermediate and Senior Phase at the North-West University, and graduated in 2014.
My teaching career started off at Noordwyk Primary School in Midrand, where I learned a lot about what it actually meant to be a teacher. I was determined to work in an environment where I could work more closely with my learners, and started working for the Sandton Group of Schools at the Sandton Primary branch in 2017.
I was asked to join the Sandton Junior Bryanston branch in the role of the deputy head by Mrs Katz and Mrs Stephens, who I have worked closely with over the past two years, and I did not even hesitate to take the offer and make Sandton Junior School my new home.
We have a beautiful school with loyal and enthusiastic teachers who strive to guide our learners on the best possible educational journey, and to make sure they enjoy every step of the way.
