Our boarding facilities consist of two wings, one for boys and girls respectively. Each wing comprises sharing and single rooms which are assigned according to grades.
Sandton Group of Schools Boarding, launched in January 2020 and present pupils with an opportunity to interact more closely with the primary aim of our schools, to encourage each learner to be a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive, well-rounded person with an independent mind.
A balanced programme of rigorous academics, sport, and cultural activities incorporated into daily boarding life will enable learners to discover and expand their own talents in a personal and diverse environment.

Our boarding facilities consist of two wings, one for boys and girls respectively. Each wing comprises sharing and single rooms which are assigned according to grades. The girls’ rooms are equipped with en suite bathrooms and the boys share communal facilities. The modern common rooms are shared by boys and girls under supervision.
These include a recreation room with a pool table, foosball table, PlayStation, Flat screen television and age appropriate board games. They also offer a TV room and the study room where pupils will do their homework during study times.
We offer weekly and full-time boarding from Grade 4 to Grade 12. Boys Grade 4 to Grade 7 share an open dorm and so do the Grade 8 to Grade 10 boys. Grade 11 and Grade 12 boys are accommodated in single rooms. The boys share communal bathrooms.
Our girls boarding wing also offers boarding for girls from Grade 4 to Grade 12. Our Grade 4 to Grade 6 girls share an open dorm, so do the Grade 7 to Grade 9 girls. Our Grade 10 to Grade 12 girls are accommodated in single rooms. All of the girls rooms have en suite bathrooms.
Our common rooms are shared by boys and girls. They consist of an entertainment room, TV room and study room. The entertainment room is fitted with flat screen televisions, pool table, Foosball and gaming consoles. The TV room is equipped with Smart TVs with Netflix and comfortable couches. Pupils make use of the study room to do homework and study.
Pupils eat all their meals in the dining hall. Pupils are served with well-balanced and healthy meals, three times a day. The monthly menu will be made available in advance. We also have a tuck shop during break times for snacks and a vending machine in the common rooms.
The Boarding House at Sandton Group of Schools offers a shuttle service that will transport learners between school and extramural activities during the week and will be utilised over the weekend to transport learners to fun activities. The shuttle is operated by a licenced driver using a school vehicle.
The chore of doing laundry over the weekend before heading back to school on a lazy Sunday afternoon will be something of the past. The laundry is readily available for learners to use themselves, we also have the option to have laundry washed, dried, ironed and folded by our friendly staff.
During day time, all our learners have access to our tuck shop for those much loved burgers and toasted sandwiches and even a chocolate or muffin together with a smoothie or slushy. At night time the tuck shop is closed but we have fully stocked vending machines which will easily cure any cravings. They are situated in the common areas and all the boarding pupils have full access to them.
Our schools all have 24hour security. Our boarding house is equipped with a state of the art security system and CCTV cameras that cover all public areas. Access to the dormitories is controlled by password protected electronic doors to further ensure the safety of our learners.
